These can all be offered to community groups.
The BDR Waste Treatment Facility
Have you ever wanted to know more about what happens to your leftover household waste? In this talk we explain what happens to your waste and the benefits that this brings to our communities.
This talk can be delivered in person at our Visitor Centre or your group’s usual meeting place, or virtually through a range of different platforms to suit your needs. If you would like the flexibility for members to find out more at their own pace, you can view a pre-recorded presentation about the facility below.
Love Food Hate Waste
Nearly a fifth of all the food we buy in the UK ends up in our bins, costing us on average £700 per household per year in the UK. Would you like to know more about why we waste food, how we can cut back on food waste and save ourselves a little money as well? We aim to give you an insight into why we have food waste, what we can all do to reduce it, and answer questions on specific foods to help you store them better or for longer, use them up in time and get the most from them.
This talk can be delivered in person at our Visitor Centre or your group’s usual meeting place or virtually through a range of different platforms to suit your needs. If you would like the flexibility for members to find out more at their own pace you can view a pre-recorded presentation about the Love Food Hate Waste campaign, packed full of tips, below.
